Exploring Ecosystems: Where Adaptation Unveils, Human Impact Reveals, and Interdependence Prevails! (Week 4)
by Adrienne Houston
This project consists of the final part of a four-part unit for 4th and 6th-grade students exploring Arizona's science standards. Students will study how living things compete for energy and resources and why animals change. They'll use data and science to understand how humans impact these things. Then, they'll make 3D models showing how animals might adapt to changes caused by humans. These models will demonstrate how living things depend on each other and the environment. Finally, students will explain their models in writing to show what they've learned in a final culminating essay.
