Monster Genetic Engineering

This engaging lesson allows students the opportunity to employ prior knowledge while demonstrating knowledge of various standards in an inter-disciplinary, hands-on lesson.
The utilization of data collection, observations, engineering, and reflection relating to genetics and heredity allows the students to be creative and showcase their unique creation based on genetic traits.
This lesson has been adapted from various versions to showcase a wide variety of knowledge and allow students to think critically and employ various skillsets.
