Magic Magnets: Flying Butterfly
by Silvia Estrada Mariscal
Students will have the opportunity to explore the magnetic field in small groups or independently. Students will explore the forces by demonstrating how a paper clip can float in the air using a string, magnets, and paper clips. They will identify the invisible force as the magnetic field. Students will be making a Flying Butterfly and presenting their creation explaining what forces are being used, using new vocabulary.
