Elephant Toothpaste Reaction Rate Laboratory
The purpose of this lesson and laboratory exercise is for students to gain an understanding of chemical reactions and how they work. The students will have the opportunity to see a reaction between hydrogen peroxide and oxygen through physical displays as a result of the decomposition reaction. Students will gather data and make connections between reaction rates related to changes in concentration and the presence or absence of a catalyst.

A lesson to teach students how to collect, organize, interpret data, make inferences, raise awareness, and suggest possible solutions on the water quality of the waterbodies in the state of Arizona.
In this lesson, students use the Kepler’s Laws PhET Simulation to collect data on the period and average radius of the planetary orbits. They graph and analyze that data to derive Kepler’s 3rd Law.
This lesson gives students another real life example of Newton's Second Law of Motion. Students will use force diagrams and Newton's Second Law of Motion to find their apparent weight as they
