Coding with Edison Robots Part 1

This lesson is an introduction to the Edison Robots and how they work with barcodes for coding. This lesson will give students the opportunity to become familar with the parts of the Edison as well as the terminology associated with Edison Robots.

Students create a city and a plan for a route fro Thanksgiving parade with floats coded by robots. The students build the buildings along the parade route using area or addition/subtraction houses

5th Grade, 6th Grade, 7th Grade, 8th Grade
Students will compare and contrast homes and technology from 50 years ago to the present day. Students will engineer a SMART home gadget that can be implemented in to the SMART homes of the future.
