Chicken Math
This STEM lesson combines Math, Science and a bit of Engineering. Students will walk through the process of raising chicks to hens. Using pretend chicks and research to collect data about how they would grow and survive to adulthood and ultimately begin laying eggs. Can be used as a full year project since it takes 8 months for them to fully grow or it can be cut to a 4 week lesson.
