Best Class Plant

No votes have been submitted yet.
This lesson is centered around the book, The World's Best Class Plant. It is intended for 1st-3rd grade. Ideally, teachers would use this lesson at the beginning of the year so they can have their very own class plant to take care of and observe throughout the year. At the end of the year, you would propagate the class plant so each student gets to take a cutting home with them that will in turn become a new plant. The lesson includes multiple options for seeing propagation and regeneration in a shorter amount of time as well. There is also a design challenge included where students create a watering device.
