Arizona Road Trip - with Robots
by Kristy Hollandsworth
This epic road trip is an end-of-year project where students are given the opportunity to reflect on their learning and select 6 unique stops in Arizona that a tourist should visit. Students are led through brainstorming, and then research their locations to create either a Google Slides presentation or a printable brochure. The final project is paired with robots to navigate a giant map of Arizona to showcase each student's writing, knowledge of Arizona, and use of block-based coding in an end-of-year celebration where families are invited to participate.
