In this project, students from the 4th and 6th grades will collaborate and explore the science standards of Arizona. The project's main focus is to study the impact of human activities on the environment, competition for energy and resources in ecosystems, and the factors that cause species to change. Additionally, the students will analyze the human influences on these factors by interpreting environmental data and discerning patterns and trends using scientific and engineering principles. Finally, the students will showcase their understanding by creating detailed 3D models and written explanations. Through this exploration, the students will gain the knowledge and skills to engineer 3-dimensional models that represent how animals might adapt within their ecosystems if human factors make change.
