What’s All the Buzz About? Investigating the Dynamic World of Drones Part 3 of 4: Max Axiom, STEM Adventurer
This lesson is part three of four lessons, which culminate in the flight of drones built by the students.
Lesson 3: Max Axiom, STEM Adventurer focuses on commercial, scientific, and government drones and how UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems) impacts the future. Students are introduced to the Pitsco Drone Maker Kits and work through the process of building their drone with a partner. This process involves measurement, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to ensure a properly functioning drone.

Understanding and studying energy transfer produced by molecules collisions can be difficult and abstract for them. To make it easier for them to visualize, creating a Newton's Cradle will help them
In this 7 week unit, students will utilize resources around them to create a garden for a culminating taco party! Students will work on science, math, and ELA within the unit. Feel free to host this
Go through different STEM, reading, and writing activities with Roz and her friends in The Wild Robot. Students will problem solve, participate in discussions, and learn about artificial intelligence
