Waiting to Exhale: The Respiratory System

Included are multiple-day Respiratory System lessons that cover the anatomical design of the respiratory system. Students will work on a basic model project to simulate breathing action and the diaphragm. They will also learn about the muscles of the respiratory system and conduct an activity with spirometers to model lung capacity data.
