Triple Camp STEM Challenge
In this lesson, students will collaborate and communicate effectively with peers to complete an engineering design challenge using the Engineering Design Process. Students will be using technology to complete research the help their design process. As students create, they will also be able to utilize some of their knowledge of life science standards.

In this lesson, students focus on the engineering design process to help them design, build, and test a functional bow and arrow system like the character Brian Robeson in the book "Hatchet". Students
Students listen to a story about orcas and what they eat. They use a strategy called Fan and Pick to review the story. Next they plan and build an island for the seals to get away from the orcas
Understand geometric concepts such as shapes, angles, and symmetry. Apply engineering and design principles to create structures using Magna-Tiles. Develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
