Tracking Plant Growth with Technology
by Robyn Yewell
In this lesson, K-2 students will plant seeds and use technology to track the growth of their plants. Through hands-on activities and observation, students will learn about the basic needs of plants and how they grow. They will document their plant’s growth using tablets or digital cameras and measure the height of their plants. Students will then create simple charts to visualize their data, integrating technology, life science, and math concepts.
