The Stories Shadows Tell
by Michelle Sanchez
This is a second grade STEM lesson in which students will observe the shadow of an object at different points in the day, comparing the size and direction of the shadow at different points. Observing the changes in the shadow of an object helps students to understand the changes in apparent position of the sun without looking directly at the sun.
