Using "The Yummy Alphabet Book" as a read aloud/ discussion starter, students will investigate the growth and taste of cilantro by growing it from seed to compare/contrast the function, size, and flavor as a microgreen, herb, and spice. These discoveries will be documented in a Paper Bag Journal to share the experience with families, including coriander seeds to plant at home to help the community to... Spice Up Their Lives!
