The Physics of Street Light

No votes have been submitted yet.
In this lesson, students will explore the key physics principles that govern the design and operation of street lighting systems. Through a hands-on engineering design challenge, students will apply their understanding of optics, electricity, and thermodynamics to create a model street light that effectively and efficiently illuminates a designated area. This lesson is designed to be completed over the course of 3-4 class periods, depending on the depth of exploration and the complexity of the engineering design challenge.
