Penny Pendulums
This is a simple and effective lesson that explores the science behind pendulums. Students make a basic pendulum to explore the variables of mass and string length and compare results to their knowledge of the three laws of motion. Assessment is done by a graph displaying their data and a written paragraph. It is simple and does not require a lot of prep or supplies.
