Penny Pendulums
This is a simple lesson that explores the science behind pendulums. Students make a basic pendulum to explore the variables of mass and string length, and compare results to their knowledge of the three laws of motion. Assessment is done by a graph displaying their data and a written paragraph. It is simple and does not require a lot of prep or supplies.

Engineers often create small-size models of a new product to test its design. This is especially true with airplanes. Model testing tells engineers how a design responds to different air conditions
Students will construct a straw rocket launcher that utilizes air pressure as the force to push the rocket through the air. A STEM journal will guide them through planning an investigation. Students
