Students will be read the book: "Oh Say Can You Seed?" by Bonnie Worth and Aristides Ruiz
Students will learn new vocabulary for the parts of a flowering plant and identify parts together.
Students will assemble a "bean bag" growing container for their beans.
Students will document observations, growth, and questions in their science notebook starting on day one.
Students will have options for support and enrichment activities, throughout the lesson, the process, and the duration of growth.
