It can be challenging to sort through the various robot options out in the market for educators. This lesson is for educators who have used robots or are new to using robots. The intention is to use the VEX Platform to guide you through key components available in teaching robotics and to assist you in selecting the right robot for your grade level and budget. VEX provides teacher support based on platform-specific information, support and resources.

This lesson is an activity to see what an angle is and how is can be used to approximate the time of day or even navigating vessels by measuring other celestial bodies. Students will use sextants to
