Discovering Molarity
Students get to discover the relationship between solutes and solvents in relation to concentration. As an inquiry based lab, students will mix their own concentrations of Kool-Aid or other powdered drink mix with water and using mass by difference, calculate how much water and drink mix was used. After mixing these solutions, students will then drink and rate their solutions. This lab allows students to learn and practice molarity calculations through lab experimentation.

The lesson is primarily about building a Lego or any block tower with a good foundation. This can be done in a group of 5 - 7 students. In my case I am considering 7th and 8th grade class to perform
Students begin by using the Google Sunroof website to compare the cost/benefits of installing solar panels on a home's roof using different financial methods- buying, leasing and renting panels. After
This engaging lesson is designed for students to derive the rules for circuits in series by experimenting with different variables in simple circuits in series using the PhET DC Electricity simulation
