Design a Sustainable House - Scale Model (Part 2 of 2)

This lesson is part 2 of 2. In lesson one, students create a scale drawing (blueprint) of a sustainable house. In this lesson, students use their scale drawing to create a scale model of a sustainable house that utilizes a renewable energy resource for power generation, while incorporating sustainable design principles.

After learning about solar, students will create a solar-powered device that can be used by the community. Students work in groups to engineer a device and present the final product to the class.
