Data Science Inquiry: My Data Portrait
Love it, kind of like it, kind of don’t like it, or don’t like it at all are typical responses to many things…depending on what we are being asked! During this investigation, we explore together, how our classroom community is similar and different? This is the 1st lesson in a series of 2 and is an effective way to promote connections and conversations, help students to discover data in unexpected places in their lives, and develop topics for future science or engineering research. Students become more powerful thinkers by making connections with data in relevant and creative ways. Get ready for the opportunity to see the world through a new lens, with data!
