The Best Hand Warmer: A Calcium Chloride and Water Exothermic Reaction

Students will combine calcium chloride and water which results in an exothermic reaction. The students will use limited resources to create a hand warmer and determine which ratio of calcium chloride to water will create the warmest reaction and the longest length of exothermic reaction.
