Students Create a Watershed Model: Part 1 of 5

No votes have been submitted yet.

Student partners or teams build a model of a watershed with topographical features; tributaries, mountains, lakes, rivers and valleys. Students experiment to see where the water goes when “rain” falls on it, and what happens when the rain falls on a source of pollution in the watershed. Lesson 1 includes 2 days of hands-on activities along with a student observation sheet, link to lesson overview and links for more information and activity extensions.
