Seismic Wave Destruction
by Erin Carter
Students will learn about the four types of seismic waves during an earthquake. Students will then use that information to design a house that can absorb a majority of the seismic waves, limiting the destruction caused to their house. Students will then test their houses on an earthquake simulator board, make alterations, and then reflect on their successes and failures.
