Rockets & Measures of Center & Variability Pt. 2
by Virginia (Danielle) Garcia
Explore the concepts of force and energy transfer by launching rockets of varying weights and observing the resulting flight distances.
Gather numerical data on the flight distances of the rockets and summarize the data sets according to Arizona state statistical standards
Calculate measures of center (median and/or mean) and variability (interquartile range and/or mean absolute deviation) for the data sets, and interpret these measures in the context of the experiment.
