Phoenix Urban Heat Island: Lesson 4 - Pitch the Solution!
Within this lesson, students will present their master-planned community to a test audience and potential clients. Focus is on presenting to the client rather than reading information off the slide.
They will be required to critique student presentations with emphasis on the KIND, SPECIFIC, HELPFUL protocol. Peer critique may vary depending on the culture for learning in your classroom and time of year but is highly encouraged.
Emphasis is on communicating the solution and pitching it to an agency and/or stakeholders and “selling” the idea.
Emphasis is also on making connections and communicating how their design will be a viable solution.
