Parts of a Plant

In this parts of a plant lesson students will be able to identify and describe the basic parts of a plant. Students will learn about seeds, roots, stems, leaves, flowers and fruit. Epics books will be used to read to the students and learn about plants. They'll learn about different plants and be able to classify them into the correct part of a plant. A slideshow with different plants, beets, carrots, lettuce, asparagus, etc. will be used to show the different parts of a plant. Students will be able to design and label a flower using the materials provided.
