Harnessing Energy for Human Progress (Solar Ovens)

Students have the opportunity to explore solar energy and the engineering process by creating solar ovens. This lesson integrates communication skills, the engineering process, data collection, and 4th grade language/science skills.

A lesson designed for an engineering course but that can be used in a science course where we investigate the physics of waves and how it can be applied to the world of art. Students will design and
