Efficiency of a Wind Turbine Experiment
by Jolie Varholdt
In this lesson students learn about how to generate power from wind turbines. Students test the efficacy of their creations and attempt to modify their turbines for better output. Depending on skill level and prior knowledge regarding renewable energy sources, students may be asked to construct a before and after model of the wind turbine explaining the transfer/ transformation of energy in the system.
