Copper: It's Everywhere! Lesson 4-Mining in a Nutshell

In this lesson students will get the chance to mine for ore but then work on the processing phase and manufacturing phase of mining. Students will mine their ore (peanuts), process their ore (shell the peanuts), manufacture their ore (blend peanuts with other ingredients to make peanut butter) and brainstorm ideas on ways to use the waste peanut shells.
