Aircraft Design
Students will use the engineering design process to design, build, and test three different paper airplane designs. The goal will be to create one that can fly the fastest, one that can fly the farthest, and one that can fly the longest amount of time.Students will build their airplanes, take notes of their observations and collect data, and write a conclusion of their research.

Students will build the strongest boat they can using only aluminum foil. They will learn about engineering design, water displacement, the effects of gravity, decimal multiplication, and geometry.
Students work as engineers using the Engineering Design Process to design and create a parachute that will safely land a "rover" on Mars! This STEM activity uses easy-to-gather materials for parachute
Engineers often create small-size models of a new product to test its design. This is especially true with airplanes. Model testing tells engineers how a design responds to different air conditions
