Join the Space Foundation for a day of astronomy professional development. Learn to engage and inspire your students with the wonders of the cosmos. Multiple lessons will guide educators through the fundamentals of astronomy to the cutting-edge discoveries of today. Lessons include topics such as the structure of the universe, search for extraterrestrial life, black holes, and gravitational waves. Through hands-on activities, participants will receive a deeper understanding of the topic which can be implemented directly in the classroom. Lessons span an array of NGSS and Common Core Standards from all grades and are designed to engage all types of learners.
