This cohort-style short course will focus on employing Modeling pedagogy in biology for high school and community college courses. Join us for six sessions focused on using hands-on activities, collaboration, and student sense-making to teach biology concepts.
Cohort meetings are planned for January 13, January 27, February 10, February 24, March 9, and March 23, 2024.
Participants will receive 5 PD hours for each cohort meeting attended and classroom materials to implement the activities with their students. Those completing all 30 hours will receive a one-year membership to the American Modeling Teachers Association.
