Sarah Cundiff will be hosting the PD at Jefferson Elementary School in Mesa, AZ, on Saturday, May 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the ThinkerSpace.
She will lead teachers through hands-on exploration of each of the four letters of STEM.
S - Science: We will dissect flowers.
T - Technology: We will learn how to code Sphero Robots.
E - Engineering: We will explore hands-on construction strategies that can be easily incorporated in the classroom.
M - Math: We will work with statistics and graphing.
You will be shown examples of how to incorporate STEM into your classrooms and then have time to create things that you can take back and use!
When: May 6th from 9 am to 3 pm
Where: Jefferson Elementary School (120 South Jefferson Avenue, Mesa, AZ 85208)
Lunch and Snacks will be provided!
