The Math of Investing

How can you turn $200 a month for 10 years into $75,000? Through investing, of course! This workshop for secondary teachers will combine hands-on activities with immersive math problem-solving, designed to equip you with tools to effectively teach your students about financial literacy and investment concepts. From exploring compound interest to understanding stock market trends, this session will help you inspire your students’ financial understanding and foster real-world math skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.

All participants will receive the following:

Lunch
NAU Campus Parking
Travel stipend (Coconino County residents – $20, all other counties – $40)
The workshop will be held at the WA Franke College of Business at Northern Arizona University on Saturday, October 21, from 10:00am to 2:30pm.
